2026 National NAIDOC Awards and 50-Year Celebration

15 August

The National NAIDOC Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements, leadership, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia.

In 2026, NAIDOC marks a significant milestone—50 Years of Deadly—honouring five decades of recognising, elevating, and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, cultures, achievements, and contributions to the nation.

Taking place in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) on 15 August 2026, the National NAIDOC Awards will bring together communities, leaders, finalists, sponsors, partners, and supporters to celebrate excellence and acknowledge individuals and organisations making a positive impact across the country.

Award finalists will be announced during NAIDOC Week, with winners recognised at the National NAIDOC Awards ceremony.
