Connect 2015, Sydney - Registrations are now open

Connect 2015 is shaping up to be one of the biggest and best yet. Taking place in Sydney on May 25th-26th, the theme of Connect 2015 is 'Growth Through Diversity.'

Following the phenomenal success of Connect 2014 in Sydney, the Connect 2015 Conference and Indigenous Business Tradeshow returns to Randwick Racecourse. This year’s Gala Dinner Awards night will move to an exciting new floating venue, the Dockside Pavilion at Darling Harbour.

Registrations are now open, with substantial discounts available on all Early Bird purchases up until February 27.

A very happy New Year to all of our readers. We hope you have had a pleasant and relaxing summer break. Supply Nation is excited for a busy and productive year in 2015.

The performance results for Supply Nation's second quarter of the sixth year demonstrates that 2014 concluded on an extremely positive note for the organisation.

Among the highlights in 2015 is the much anticipated launch of Supply Nation's new website. Members and Certified Suppliers can look forward to a new and improved portal system once we go live.

Other special projects this year will include the publication of a Social Return on Investment project, a Stories of Success publication and an updated look and feel for external communications. An 'Australian Supplier Diversity' Linked In group was launched late last year, which we encourage all stakeholders to join by clicking on the link above.

Over the coming weeks Supply Nation has a number of important events taking place. They include a Member CEO luncheon and the second annual Parliamentary Luncheon. Read all about them below.

Connect WA - October 2014

On October 27 2014, Supply Nation hosted the second annual Connect 2014 WA event in Perth, WA.

The event took place at the Novotel Perth Langley in WA and focussed on the theme of'Leading the way in the West.' A new addition to the line-up in 2014 was a networking breakfast.

Supply Nation's End of Year functions

Supply Nation celebrated the end of a successful year in 2015 by hosting functions in Sydney and Perth in December for Members and Certified Suppliers.

On December 11th 2014, Supply Nation Member Accenture provided its Pyrmont based offices in Sydney as the venue for a special networking lunch. In Perth, local Supply Nation stakeholders enjoyed a function on the evening of December 12th at the Sentinel Bar.

A third event was planned for Brisbane but had to be cancelled due to inclement weather and subsequent damage in the region.

Connect WA - October 2014

A Supply Nation delegation of eight Certified Suppliers, one Corporate Member and three Supply Nation Staff travelled to Orlando, Florida from 2-5 November.

The delegation attended our US sister council, the National Minority Supplier Development Council's (NMSDC) Annual Business Opportunity Fair and Conference.

The 2015 NMSDC Conference and Business Opportunity Fair has been confirmed to take place at the San Diego Convention Centre from October 18-21.

Member CEO Luncheon and Parliamentary Luncheon

On February 5 2015, Supply Nation will host the first event of the year, a Member CEO Luncheon. This 'not to be missed' event will take place at Citibank Australia's CBD location, with the Hon. Alan Tudge confirmed to be a guest host.

Invited guests will have the opportunity to hear from high profile Q&A panellists including Sandra Mattiazzo, Managing Director at Capital Security Pty Ltd and Steve McCann, CEO at Lend Lease.

Eminent journalist Jeff McMullen will be in attendance to host the Q&A panel.

On March 17, Supply Nation will return to Parliament House, Canberra for the second annual Parliamentary Luncheon hosted by Senator Nigel Scullion, Minister for Indigenous Affairs.

Featured Certified Supplier - Integrity First Aid Training

Integrity First Aid Training became a Certified Supplier in June 2013. The business works with corporate Australia, Government agencies, not-for-profits, schools and community to tailor First Aid courses to their industry, WH&S and compliance requirements.
