In the 2012-13 financial year, Supply Nation successfully completed its pilot phase, rebranding from AIMSC to the new name of Supply Nation.
Connecting corporations and government agencies with small to medium Indigenous enterprises has had a truly wide-reaching effect. With the appointment of new Supply Nation CEO, Charles Prouse, significant change continues to be created in the Australian business landscape which subsequently filters through to the wider Indigenous communities.
Part of Supply Nation’s ongoing development and expansion has seen the introduction of a new fee structure for Members. In addition, some new measures have been introduced including a greater emphasis on programs, as well as learning and development opportunities. This ensures that Supply Nation maintains its status as a leading force in supplier diversity in Australia.
The dollar value of transactions between Members and Certified Suppliers is at an astounding $64 million, with contracts to the value of $39 million up to the period ending June 2013.
Thanks to the ongoing support of our corporate and government Members and Certified Suppliers, the Supply Nation model will continue to gain traction and Indigenous communities will increasingly see the benefits first-hand.
The Supply Nation report gives an overview of our achievements and is available to download below.
Also launched in the annual report is Supply Nation's new artwork, the colour palette of which is inspired by wild flowers and depicts the change of colour in the landscape after the rain – rejuvenation, growth, new life, energy and opportunities.
The artwork and cover was designed by Supply Nation Certified Supplier Gilimbaa.
